Cave Spider Jockeys are hostile mobs that can only be found in Minecraft Pocket Edition. They are Cave Spiders being ridden by Skeletons. They were added in Update 0.11.0.
Spawning[]
Cave Spider Jockeys have a very small chance to spawn naturally in the overworld. They also have a very small chance to be spawned through a Cave Spider Spawn Egg.
Attack[]
The Skeleton attacks at the player by shooting Arrows at the player. The Arrows that will shoot will effect the player with the Poison Status Effect making them more dangerous than normal Spider Jockeys. The Skeleton attacks and the Cave Spider is moving but does not attack. Once the Skeleton dies, the Cave Spider will start attacking at the player.
Combat[]
A bow would be more useful than a sword as the player should not get close to cave spider jockeys, so he/she won't get poisoned. However, an iron sword or above would kill them easily. Armor is also recommended.
It is also recommended for the player to have at least one milk bucket at him/her inventory to clear poison.
Drops[]
The skeleton when killed, it will drop 0-2 arrows and 0-2 bones and the spider when killed, it will drop 0-1 spider eyes or 0-2 string.

- They are version exclusive to Minecraft PE.
- They cannot be spawned with a Spider Spawn Egg.
